Billie Miracle has a Master of Arts Education degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Since 2001 she has been a Discovery Programs instructor for Start Strong, a series of courses for and returning students at Rogue Community College. Billie is an enthusiatic supporter and instructor of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education and career development. She encourages students to find inspiration by exploring living wage career options. At RCC she has been a member of the Diversity Programming Board as well as Advisor to the Rainbow Club and the Women’s Resource Center. She also taught for the Art Department at RCC, has participated in the arts community of Southern Oregon as a past board member of the Grants Pass Museum of Art and a member of the Arts in Education Committee of the Oregon Arts Commission. She has exhibited her art in Canada and the United States and was a founding member of PowerHouse Gallery in Montreal, Quebec.
