The Counseling Department offers a variety of Human Development classes and workshops for students and community members. Topics include career planning, communication skills, decision-making, diversity awareness, personal discovery, stress reduction and time management. Many of these classes and workshops may be taken for no credit and are free tuition-free.

College Success classes assist new students by providing information about RCC programs and teaching strategies for academic success. Major Decisions Workshops help students identify their academic major. Continuing students will find numerous workshops related to academic planning and personal development.

Employability and Job Search courses are available for students graduating with a certificate or degree. Transfer Success Workshops are offered twice a year to provide information for students planning to transfer to 4-year colleges and universities.
