Do you want to make a difference by saving a life? Come to the Fall Term Blood Drive, hosted by the Associated Student Government of Rogue Community College (ASGRCC) and the American Red Cross Tuesday, November 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Riverside Campus, Building G, in the lobby at 117 S Central Avenue, Medford, Oregon. The donation process from the time you arrive until the time you leave takes about an hour. The donation itself is only about 8-10 minutes on average. Certain donation types, such as platelets, red cells or plasma can take up to 2 hours. After donating, you will be provided food and beverages. You can leave the site after 10-15 minutes and continue with your normal daily activities if you feel capable.

Educación, un Mundo de Oportunidades (EMO) is a nonprofit one-day educational conference that provides relevant information about post-secondary education and training opportunities.This conference is primarily held for Hispanic high school juniors and seniors from Jackson County and is now expanding to reach to more students in Josephine County.

The conference includes encouraging speeches from Keynote speakers, community members and current RCC students. This powerful one-day event helps motivate youth on ways to overcome current obstacles, realize the dream of going to college and become their own success story for a bright future that awaits them.

  Through the student's myRogue account. Once they log-in, look for Account Payment.
• In-person DURING business hours:
  The student can visit a Rogue Central location. 
• In-person AFTER business hours:
  A check or credit card payment can be placed in a “Payment Drop” box located at each of the main campuses near the Rogue Central office. Envelopes are located at each drop box location.

  The student can email Rogue Central (rcs@roguecc.edu). An RC Specialist will contact the student by phone.
• Phone:
  During peak times, Rogue Central helps the customers at the counter and may not be able to get to your call.

Payments of cash can be made in U.S. funds only.

Payments by check (personal checks, traveler's check, cashier's check and money orders) need to be payable to Rogue CC with the student's name and ID number clearly written on the face of the check.

Payment also may be made by credit card: Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.

When students withdraw after the second Wednesday of the term,

• There is no refund for a withdrawal.
• A grade of "W" is noted on the student's transcript.
• Grades of “W” are not included in GPA calculations.
• The date the student withdraws online or notifies Rogue Central of their intent to withdraw is the official last date of attendance.

Audit (“AU”) is an enrollment status which allows you to take classes but not receive credit or a grade. Contact Rogue Central Services to request an Audit. (Financial aid will not pay for audits.)

One Easy Application for $18 million in Scholarships. Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC) Applications are open for state-sponsored scholarships through March 1, 2018. Apply Today at https://oregonstudentaid.gov/scholarships.aspx.

Scholarship Application Timeline & Deadlines

1. Early fall: Begin searching and selecting scholarship opportunities in the OSAC Scholarship Catalog. Return often, as new scholarships are always being added.
2. October: File your FAFSA or ORSAA as soon as possible after October 1. Doing so will ensure you are considered for all scholarships that consider financial need.
3. November - February: Start your OSAC scholarship application and submit from November through March 1. You can save and come back to your application before you submit.
   • First-time applicants: create an OSAC account and start the OSAC Scholarship Application.
   • Returning applicants: refresh and update your application from last year.
   • High school juniors may start a "test application", but cannot submit until their year of graduation.
4. February 15*: Early Bird deadline. Complete applications (including transcripts) submitted by this date will be entered into a drawing for one of several $1,000 Early Bird scholarship awards.
5. March 1*: Final deadline for all materials to be submitted to OSAC.
