Event title: TRC Blood Drive
Description:

American Red Cross Blood Drive

Do you want to make a difference by saving a life? Come to the Fall Term Blood Drive, hosted by the Associated Student Government of Rogue Community College (ASGRCC) and the American Red Cross Wednesday, November 9 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the Table Rock Campus, Room 101 at 7800 Pacific Avenue White City, Oregon. The donation process from the time you arrive until the time you leave takes about an hour. The donation itself is only about 8-10 minutes on average. Certain donation types, such as platelets, red cells or plasma can take up to 2 hours. After donating, you will be provided food and beverages. You can leave the site after 10-15 minutes and continue with your normal daily activities if you feel capable.

Event title: Human Service program information session
Description:

Discover if a human services career match your goals when you attend a free human services program information session from 5-7 p.m. at the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center at 101 S. Bartlett St. in Medford on the following dates:

  • November 9 in room HEC 320
  • November 27 in room HEC 225

Attending an information session is a required step in the application procedure for the Human Services limited-entry program; however, the information session is open to anyone who wishes to learn more about the program.

The application process for the Fall 2018 cohort will open on Nov. 20, 2017.

Human services workers provide a wide range of emotional and practical support to help people get through difficult times. The RCC Human Services program provides the training and experience you need to enter this rewarding and demanding field. Program advisers will assist you in deciding which program is right for you based on your interests, aptitudes, and career goals.
