 The Rogue Valley Veteran History Museum Exhibit collects, preserves, and makes accessible the personal accounts of American war veterans so that viewers may better understand the realities of our American wars from past to present time. Viewers will see a collection of war items, photos, vintage military uniforms, and stories from the Civil War to the current time.
The traveling museum will be on exhibit Nov. 7 and 8, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., both days at the:

RWC: Timothy Jones presents "Taking Back My Life" |
| Description: |
 The RCC Diversity Programming Board is proud to announce Veteran Appreciation Days (Nov. 7-8) at the Redwood, Riverside and Table Rock campuses. This year we have two veterans events happening simultaneously.
The first event is called "Taking Back My Life: From Victim to Victor.” In 1999, while serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy, Timothy Jones was stalked, raped and hazed. These traumatic events altered the next 20 years of his life. Jones endured a 10-year journey of struggle, hitting his rock bottom. After receiving assistance from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Jones navigated past each adversity, reclaiming his “colorful” voice. Jones’s purpose and mission is to inspire hope and empower healing of those who have had encounters with Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and sexual assault.
Timothy Jones will speak at:
- 11 a.m. Nov. 7 at the Rogue Auditorium at RCC's Redwood Campus, 3345 Redwood Hwy., Grants Pass
- 9 a.m. Nov. 8 in Room 184 at RCC's Table Rock Campus, 7800 Pacific Ave., White City
- 1 p.m. Nov. 8 in Room 132 at the RCC/SOU HEC Building, 101 S. Bartlett St., Medford
