EMO-RCC's 11th annual Educacion, Un Mundo de Oportunidades (Education, A World of Opportunities) conference |
| Description: |
Designed for Latino high school juniors and seniors. Sponsored in part by RCC’s Club La-tino, the one-day conference brings together Hispanic students from Jackson and Josephine counties to provide information about post-secondary education and training opportunities. There is no cost to students.
Workshops and speakers will cover college-related topics including admissions, academic resume preparation, and financial aid applications. RCC students, graduates and community leaders will help motivate young students and provide strategies for overcoming current obstacles in accessing college and challenges in the future.
