Event title: Individualized Career Training Department Information Session
Description: Find Your Career Path Through Individualized Career Training at RCC Not every job requires a specific certification or course of study. At Rogue Community College (RCC) the Individualized Career Training (ICT) department creates custom built training programs to help get people get into a great career with the job of their dreams. RCC is offering a free information session for anyone interested in learning about skills training. The meeting will be Friday, January 13, 2017, from 11 a.m. to noon in Building "Z" (“Zig Zag”), Room Z-2 on the RCC Redwood Campus at 3345 Redwood Highway, Grants Pass, Oregon. The ICT department offers a state-approved, one-year certificate program offering a wide variety of career opportunities not found elsewhere at RCC. New training options are added on a regular basis, and staff may be able to custom design a training program related to an individual student's specific interests. It uses the community as the classroom for hands-on learning in a variety of career fields chosen to extend offerings while not overlapping with other RCC programs. To apply for the program, candidates must first attend one of these free monthly information sessions. The sessions are only one hour and open to all current and potential students. The information provided is designed to help students determine whether this is the right educational path for them.
