- This re-certification course covers the assessment of pre-arrest states and prevention of cardiopulmonary arrest in children, along with improving the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. This advanced course uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics
Required: A valid PALS Provider card and BLS Healthcare Provider card, along with additional pre-course preparation.
