Events Each Term:
Week of Welcome
ASGRCC hosts a Week of Welcome. It's an opportunity to stop by the event and meet faculty, grab a snack on your way to class, take a campus tour or enter a drawing for your chance at a giveaway.
Beginning of the term:
Blood drive, open mics, club days, intramural events (ping pong, volleyball, basketball).
Holiday Celebrations
We celebrate holidays with special events: Halloween, Veterans day, a December holiday celebration, Valentine's day, St. Patrick's day.
Zombiefest
Our largest event of the year is held during spring term. This year's event is Zombiefest, a live action role-playing survival game where players attempt to survive the zombie apocalypse at RCC on RWC. The event is scheduled for May 31, 2013, starting at 5pm, and is huge in scale. Hundreds of student and community volunteers come together with both ASGRCC campus teams involved in creating a fun event for students and community members.
Coming up Spring Term
- Elections for next year's ASG officers. Election packets and information will be available at spring term Welcome Days with elections held May 13-May 17.
- Cardboard Box Fort Day. A brand new event that ASG is really excited about will be held all day on May 6 on Redwood Campus. Teams will compete to build the best cardboard fort. Winners will receive prizes.
- Student Success. ASGRCC supports student success at graduation by hosting a reception following the ceremony. Refreshments are provided while student graduates are celebrated.
