GED® and Pre-College Education
At Rogue Community College (RCC), Pre-College Education (PCE) leads to pathways towards attaining your GED®, certifications, a two-year degree, or a transfer degree that culminates in your employment or career goal. PCE provides opportunities for learners to return to educational pathways by focusing on reading, writing, mathematics, critical thinking, and job skills instruction.
New and returning students should call their local learning center to schedule an orientation. Any employer who wants to provide training opportunities for their workers may contract for services designed especially for their employees' needs.
Learners who need assistance with essential skills such as reading, writing, and math may attend classes tailored to their needs and study independently in a learning lab with help from qualified instructors. As an RCC student, you will have access to the RCC academic success centers, which provide additional tutoring opportunities before taking the college placement test.
To register for an orientation for GED® preparation, English as a Second Language (ESL/ELA), skills brush-up, or placement test preparation, please call 541-956-7490.
